TRACK 1: The Basics of Liturgy, Fall 2023

This course serves as an introduction to the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church. Participants will gain the fundamental knowledge needed to prepare the liturgy or to serve in a liturgical, ministerial, or parish leadership role. Contact events@ltp.org for more information.

REQUIRED TEXT: The Liturgy Documents, Volume One, Fifth Edition: Essential Documents for Parish Worship

RECOMMENDED TEXT: Liturgy with Style and Grace, Third Edition, Revised

REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY TEST: All course participants are required to join in a technology orientation session prior to the first session to ensure that your computer is configured properly.

  • Wednesday, September 27, 2023, 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
  • Thursday, September 28, 2023, 8:00pm - 9:00pm EDT

These times indicate when an LTP representative will be present in the classroom. Participants are not required to be there for the whole time. Most people will only need 5-10 minutes to test their technology.
