This enhanced series of workshops, which emphasizes the celebration of the Eucharist as the source and summit of Christian life, is the perfect virtual formational opportunity for NPM’s Premier Members! With a solid understanding of the liturgy, you will be well-equipped for a deeper conversation regarding the role of liturgy in every aspect of our Catholic lives.

This virtual workshop is presented in conjunction with The Essentials of Catholic Liturgy (Track Three). The following additional benefits are included for Colloquium participants:

  • The course text: Beyond the Sanctuary: Essays on Liturgy, Life, and Discipleship (LTP, 2020) will be provided to all Colloquium participants. You must be registered by January 19, 2021 to ensure this book is delivered by the first session on February 1, 2021. Books will be mailed on January 20, 2021.
  • Two bonus sessions offered on February 1 and March 22; these sessions will explore additional content areas specific to the needs of those who serve in the role of Directors of Music Ministries.
  • "Virtual Nightcap": Hosted by members of the DMM Forum, this weekly opportunity invites Colloquium participants to discuss more specifically the content presented each week.

PRESENTERS: Timothy A. Johnston, Danielle A. Noe, Christina N. Condyles, and Fr. J. Michael Joncas (a past Colloquium favorite), will present content and moderate discussion and sharing on topics which will strengthen you in your role as pastoral minister and leader of worship.

REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY TEST: All course participants are required to join in a technology orientation session prior to the first session to ensure that your computer is configured properly. A technology orientation session is scheduled for Monday, February 8 between 5-7pm ET.
